Research
Studies show that online speech therapy is as effective as in-person therapy.

Engaging
The online platform I use is different from Zoom or Skype. It is a state of the art tool created by Presence, a California-based telehealth company. Here, the sky is the limit as far as interactive activities. In my experience kids from kindergarten through High School love the way we are able to make working on their speech and language fun through games, high-interest books, on screen interactive activities, etc.

Availability
Get started now. No waiting for school bureaucracy. By law, public schools are permitted to utilize Response to Intervention strategies before going through an evaluation. If testing is requested, the school has 60 days to complete it. You can pursue school-based speech and language services while still quickly starting with online speech therapy.

I work on what schools won't
Public schools are not always obligated to provide speech and language services. Students receive speech and language therapy only if there is an academic impact. This means a child may have a delay in pronunciation of speech sounds, for example, but still not receive speech therapy if there is no academic impact.

Summer Services
Even if children receive speech therapy through their public school, they are rarely eligible to receive speech therapy in the summer. Here I provide a continuum of care.

Flexibility
No wasted travel time to appointments. Plus your child can receive services where they are most comfortable: at home.
